To all of you who predicted we'd lose, screw you.
Muahahaha!
More articles to come as they're posted ... sports sites are rather slow on the weekends to post recaps.
OK, Steve ... post your obligatory snide remark, but just watch out ... we're coming for you this year. :)

Edit: First Recap.
Posted by Nick at January 10, 2004 05:48 PM | TrackBackNo snide comment here ... Does this mean that you want to create a side pot on this year's tourney? I'm sure that they won't choke *this* year. ;)
(For the benefit of the other readers, Nick and I have agreed to bet $1 each year for the next 10 years as to which team progresses further in the tourney. He has chosen the Cardinal. I have picked the Blue Devils. Now what can I buy for $10...?)
Posted by: steve at January 10, 2004 10:46 PMHmm, I'll think about it.
I will definitely, at any point, though, take a side pot for that you will not make $10 in 10 years ... no freakin' way.

Posted by: Nick at January 11, 2004 12:56 AMWay to stick your neck out there for your team. You're willing to bet that they won't lose 10 years in a row. Now that's confidence! (BTW - that part *was* a joke. Oy)
Posted by: steve at January 11, 2004 07:45 AMHere's the thing ... I have a pretty strong natural aversion to betting on events that I care about (despite the fact that I love gambling ... go figure). I think that the benefit of winning a bet along with winning the event isn't sufficiently enticing to make up for the depression of losing both ... I think the risk/reward equation never works out for me, even if we're supposed to win.
