Well, well, well ... Cupertino's "copy machines"?

I bet Mr. Jobs had nothing to say about copy machines today ...

I wonder how many of the Apple faithful will notice that we've been doing this since Q1 2007 2005 2004.

The insane ones will come up with some excuse for why that doesn't apply here, but the short answer is that business is business, and y'all certainly did go after the market first. :)

Eric - Absolutely, and if more people got that, everything would be fine. It's an obvious and good move on Apple's part, so there's not much more to say about that. It's just the general zealotry and attitude that drives me nuts, as usual.

Lilly - Well, if they were sticking just to music, a TV extension wouldn't particularly be relevant, nor do I think it'd go at $299. It only makes sense when video is involved, and we've been caring more about that than music since the get go (though, no argument that they did music first and they've done a good job of it). You don't need a computer next to your TV, though - did you actually follow my links? I've been working on our equivalent to the STB since 2004, and we have both STBs and software built-in to the Xbox 360 to do the same kind of thing.

Bah. Lily had a comment here that started with "Yeah, but critical difference is that jobs started by dominating" and continued to assert that MCE required a computer by the TV, among a few other things. I got a little overzealous with MT-Blacklist, though. Oops. Sorry about that.
