Babies

If the US only allowed couples to have one child, like China, what do you think would happen? Would we end up with as many girls as boys? More girls? More boys?

I *think* it would be pretty even. We get more excited about raising a "cute little x" than having an adult x to do whatever it is that China thinks men will do, and in my very unscientific polling there seem to be equal numbers of people who want a boy or a girl.

Why does it eat my html?

So it's not html, it's psuedo I'm-trying-to-be-funny html . . . which is why I don't understand why it gets eaten. The word "Nick" in the previous entry was supposed to look like "(cough)Nick(/cough)", but apparently movable type eats anything in the pointy brackets. I guess I know just enough to screw things up. :)

Poor Weblog.

Web Log? Two words? Blog?

Anyhow, it's really sad to come to the site and only have ONE thing on the page because it's been so long since anyone Nick posted. So here I am, trying to revive this dying page of political rants and game discussions. Hmm, I suppose I could tell you about how much laundry we have to do this weekend . . . wait! come back! I promise not to mention the L word again. Maybe I should recruit for The MS Intern Game. SCOTT BLOOMQUIST!! I know you are out there - why have you and Jennifer left us? So sad . . . Steve . . . that's right, Steve Speicher . . . you don't have enough to do, Mr. Stay-at-home-pet-owner! Why not come flex your brain with us? The interns would appreciate your sense of humor, but probably not your anal-retentive feelings about grammar and the spelling of your odd German name. :)

Okay, back to my coffee.
